Aquatic Centre

This project was built on DCC Reserve Land. It was funded completely by OUSA funds to replace their previous boat shed which was burned down some years earlier.
The project consists of large boat shed for rowing boats and kayaks along with an indoor rowing pool, amenities, general storage and clubrooms over with external viewing deck facing the harbour. Steel framed structure with metal wall and roof cladding. Large amounts to stainless steel were used both indoor and out. Concrete external pads to boatshed end for rigging of boats leading down to existing slipways. Asphalt carparking at the opposite end of the building.
