Kitchens & Associated Upgrade Work Halls of Residence

This single project included installing three commercial kitchens within three existing Halls of Residence. All were carried out within the same 14-week construction period, which included Christmas and New Year.

Two of the sites, Cumberland Hall and to a lesser extent Hayward Hall, included major structural alterations to the ground floor of multiple storey buildings. The extent of structural alterations required to Cumberland Hall was never envisaged.

All sites were occupied, to varying degrees, by the existing tenants throughout the course of the project.

All three kitchens opened on time.
